Product Description

The Philips AVENT 9 ounce Natural Feeding Bottle comes in natural and gold color is clinically proven to reduce colic. It has an anti-colic valve that not only reduces colic for less air in baby's tummy, but also works with baby's natural feeding action so your baby controls milk flow, which can help reduce overeating and spit up. The soft, naturally shaped nipple promotes proper latch-on and makes it easier to combine breast and bottle feeding. This bottle is made from Polyether Sulphone (PES) - a BPA Free material with a natural golden-colored tint. All AVENT Nipples and Spouts can be used with the AVENT Bottle, Magic and Via cup. This comes in a dual pack

Avoid these bottles, they leak.2
These bottles leak. I have about a 50% chance of a bottle leaking pretty badly after fastening the lid. I have tried every technique, finger pressure, nipple position, tightening, loosening, to no avail. We've been using them for 10 months because we bought a batch and can't afford to scrap them and start over. I hear good things about the gerber, if our baby ever need larger bottles we'll be going with a different brand. The leaks are frustrating when you have a crying baby and you need to undo the bottle and mess about with the nipple to get a good seal.

Leaky BPA FREE Avent Bottles ~ Consider other bottles1
I am on my 3rd child with Avent bottles. I had no issues with the first two kids with leaking. When they came out with BPA free, I purchased all new bottles for the 3rd. It does not matter what we do, these leak. Sometimes it leaks from the hard plastic area that screws onto the bottle other times from the nipple itself. It does not matter what we do or how we do it and frankly who needs a full time project with screwing a nipple on in the middle of the night? These have leaked all over my purse and all over the baby. Just a complete mess. I do not remember the other 20 bottles (not BPA free) ever leaking.

I just called Phillips (Avent Manufacturer) to complain. The number is 800-54-AVENT. I was told to send 1/2 the bottles back so that they can test them and that is the only way I can get a refund. Unfortunately this will be another project to determine which out of my 10 bottles to send since I am not even sure which ones are causing the problem or if sometimes they are OK and other times not. My other issue is that these bottles are completely over-priced. I only got these because we liked the Avent bottles and never had issues before and wanted to stick with what I know. I just wanted to write a review for two reasons: 1) So that future consumers thing twice about buying these and 2) To give the phone number to contact the manufacturer for those of you that are already stuck with them. Hopefully the more people that complain, they will resolve the issue and maybe you can get money back.

Lousy, leaky bottles.1
Very frustating. These bottles leak. After your kid screams at the top of her lungs, you learn to fix it fast. I found that unscrewing and trying again with a different thread first fixes it and you kinda get the right feeling after a while, but definitely NOT worth the aggravation, not to mention the price.
